Maybe take your loach to the Local Fish Shop (LFS) or advertise it on Aquarist Classified, being sure to mention Manchester in your free ad title e.g. "Free Clown Loach in Manchester".

Mine's a 6ft x 18 x 18 of 80 -90 gallon and I accept that even this is too small to be an ideal home for my six Clowns.

It's so great to see what others have achieved/are achieving.

Mine have maxed out at 6" at 15 years old in 6ft x 18 x 18.

Edit: They are Still growing, just measured them and the females are now 8".
