gulogulo wrote:@atmichaels- I'm curious who the seller was, I would love to get some cuneovirgata, they are hard to find.
Seller was Pete Mang aka Lotsoffish. These are his pics. Good luck!

Re: Pangio spp

Thanks guys! I got these off aquabid so I've no idea where they came from. Hopefully I can get them to spawn once they mature!

Pangio spp

Just got these in. I'm thinking (hoping) cuneovirgata and oblonga. What do you think? http://i1367.photobucket.com/albums/r786/atmichaels/IMG_0943_zps4soxusuj.jpg http://i1367.photobucket.com/albums/r786/atmichaels/IMG_0947_zpsafpishrp.jpg http://i1367.photobucket.com/albums/r786/atmichaels/IMG_0942...

Odd pattern on ambastaia sidthimunki

In my school of sids there are a couple that have markings that extend just below the lateral line. And then there's this one http://i1367.photobucket.com/albums/r786/atmichaels/Mobile%20Uploads/2017-01/DCCA40FB-9733-40CF-AAD5-798E49D72B41_zpszkdywmgd.jpg Had them for a year or two now. Thoughts? Re: Help with levamisole dosage.

First, how is the clown from last year? Second, levamisole in water is stable for 90 days so I would only mix it all if you're planning on immediate use. It also needs to be refrigerated and protected from exposure to light as it is photosensitive. If you don't have a need to mix it all, I would spl...

Re: Planaria

Generally planarian are harmless. Cut back on feeding and do a thorough vacuum of your gravel. It may take a few weeks but you'll eventually get them. Good luck!

Re: Getting new loaches today!

Awesome, I love contaminants! I'm always looking for the oddball gastros. I took a look at Petes current auction and assuming those are the same fish, they don't look like any of the described species I can find. (Side note: I'm considering bidding on it but the clowns are giving me pause as I don't...

Re: New loach tank idea - sheet flume

Very interesting indeed! Hillstream loaches are my passion and I've an empty tank just begging me to build this. Do the loaches go onto the plate or just the ramp?

Re: Blasting sand for loaches?

Put some in a bucket with water and then swish your hand around in it for a couple minutes. You should be able to tell from that whether you want your loaches digging in it. That's what I do for my scaleless cats.

Re: Tank size for dwarf chain loach

So should you not keep more than 5 loaches in a tank as they like to be in a small group. Or can you keep more with a bigger tank. Maybe that would create 2 groups but also a turf war? As Greek said, a minimum of ten for these guys. So the answer here is a bigger tank. While they do establish a pec...

Welcome! Sorry to hear about your trouble. A pic would be great, I use a hosting site like photobucket.

Re: Advice- Hillies (Gastromyzon ctenocephalus) may be ill?

Well that's sad. I'm sorry.

I don't have any experience with ferts but I can't imagine that could be the root cause. How's the rest of the tank looking? Keep a close eye as it could still be a bacterial issue or parasites.
