Thanks to this web site and the people who visit here, Loach knowledge is developing all the time. A second edition or new book could be considered in the future so you can continue to provide up to date info.

Congratulations to everyone contributing to this surely great book. Who is publishing it in Germany?
If I may give a broad hint:
When do I get the job to do the German translation?

A big well done to everyone. As I've said before, I wish I had got to know you all earlier so that I might have been able to contribute words as well as photos, but you've all done such a great job and I'm proud to have a number of photographs included. Particularly my Marge as a double-spread on the Afterword chapter. 8)

I was hoping I could get Marge in the background of this pic, but she was being shy and turned away:

But Amber did seem most interested in the fishy book:

Gee, I hope Marge isn't getting a bit "uppity" with all her fame.

Seriously for a moment...I don't feel great tonight....definitely got some bug. I'm sitting here in shorts and a LOL T-shirt with the ceiling fan blowing air down on me and I'm still hot

As Mark says the book is pretty close to what our original concept was. It even turned out the right shape! It's a great book and I'm very proud and honoured to have worked with everyone on it. The process forged a lot of friendships that conrinue. It's made the moderation team here a really tight crew.

Still got to say though if we had total editorial control we could have produced a truly visually beautiful book. We had the images available and it's a shame that budgetry constraints and company policies at the publisher prevented the inclusion of many of those.

We even tried offering pics for free! No dice.
