levamisole in Canada

Post by glv » Thu Apr 17, 2008 10:08 am

Hi,

I did a search on the forum but couldn't find any information on where to get Levamisole in Canada. Any ideas. I have tried a few vets, feed stores and fish stores. Thanks.

I recently had a problem with my fish and I needed Levamisole, and I couldn't find it. I ordered Flubendazole from Dr. Charles Harrison, and he also sold me Levamisole. I don't know if he usually does that, but you could ask him if he knows a location.

More information about Levamisole and Flubendazole are in Shari's article at: http://www.loaches.com/Members/shari2/l ... chloride-1

It has been discontinued for about 10 years in Canada. A few places to get it are drug manufacturers (your local pharmacist can usually provide you with a name/contact) they charge an arm and a leg though, and usually takes a few days as this stuff is hard to get ahold of apparently. Charles Harrison is your best bet, he is super nice and the meds are at your door in the shortest amount of time he can manage. The best prices around.

Used to be a neat old Feed store north of Toronto that sold it. But now it's a housing estate like just about all that beautiful farmland that was
