pics of botia's eating their best food, bloodworms.
i took these three pics earlier to show how keen loaches are for bloodworms plus the barbs.
i don't know if any of you have been bit by a 6+ inch botia but i can tell you it give me a shock at how hard they can bite.

Blue. yes that fish is just over 6 inches SL bud and thats the bugger who always gets my fingers.
plaalyle. yes they have the full block of blood worms, it's gone in 15 mins normally.
don't forget that they don't get fed every day i give them rest days from food at least twice a week.
and the tw0 botias i think you mean are histrionicas bud.

yup all the new fish are doing fine bud.
those barbs are a poropuntius sp first bred by kamphol, according to what he said they only get to 6 inch max, Neil had some when you were there they look better the longer you have them and they are totally inoffensive in their habits.
are you in Spain yet bud?.

Hmm well I was trying hard to not look at any fish that day as you know! They´re beautiful mate. I´m here in Barcelona yep, been running around sorting out a place to live/official documents and other assorted stuff this week but things should hopefully start to be a bit more fun from now on!mickthefish wrote:hi Matt,
