O.K. then I"LL go OT & ask why you measure conductivity. I never saw anyone give that # before, is it more a saltwater thing? I do not want to have to test for anything more :) , I'm pretty casual now unless there's a problem since it's always about the same. :roll: Just curious. Cute fish BTW & nice pics of beautiful loaches,Martin, as usual.

You use a conductivity meter. They're a couple hundred dollars.

conductivity basically tells you how impure your water is; it's a bit like measuring hardness. though only a bit. the less (fewer?) dissolved things in the water, the lower the conductivity.

Hey ya thats pretty much exactly what happened to me but a friend took the historonicas cuzz she wanted some too and I thought more would come in *sob**

so looks like we have "false burmese loaches" hehehe.

Or we keep getting screwy patterned Kubotai???

Im glad Im not the only one though :)
