Lovely 8) I have a couple of adult hoplo in with my clowns and they get on perfectly.

Is that a Dojo in pic 3?

Do you intend keeping the clown loaches and Dojo's together long term?

They are not exactly the best companions for the clown loaches-their ideal temp is around 10-mid 20's, clown loach ideal temp is upper 20's, so there isn't really an ideal temp to keep the tank at-lower end of clown loach, is at the higher end of Dojo. Although they look like healthy active loaches and can withstand higher temperatures for short periods of time, keeping them at higher temps than their tolerance long term can lead to negative physiological/health problems. Might be best to consider other options for them long term if you havn't already.

How are you finding the Y.modesta so far?

yep i have secondary plans on the dojos, the modesta is fantastic hes slowly coming out of himself now cant wait for him to be as social as the other loaches, seems to be a little shy in the light at the mo but when i switch over to the moonlinght i installed he is in his element and shoots round the tank lol

:D Thats good.

I had to give up my Y.modesta, luckly Chris (Doc) took them, they are cocky little things. Just wait till you have a group, you think clowns are loud when they click... the modesta are something else
