Babies galore!

Post by fish_frenzy » Fri Jan 02, 2009 10:14 pm

Happy New Year to all!

I started with 4 Sewellia lineolata. I now have 21 that I have counted as of today. I have fry of 5 different sizes and they appear to be thriving! I love watching them at feeding times (with all the babies, I now feed 4 small meals a day). I have yet to see any breeding or eggs... but it's happening in there somewhere!

CONGRATS! That's really cool. :D :D :D
BTW, what do you feed them? Any special food - especially for the little ones?

I feed them finely crushed flake food and quick softening shrimp pellets along with New Life Spectrum H2o Stable wafers and NLS growth food. They all go nuts for the wafers and shrimp pellets...oh, I also give algae wafers too!

I have plenty of cherry shrimp and amano shrimp to clean up leftovers...oh and can't forget the ever present malaysian trumpet snails!

Fantastic. Must be that fine Alberta water, eh? What is your tank setup?
Why does my aquarium always seem too small?
