Your not the first person to say they hate me today

They are in a 44 gallon rivertank setup at the moment but the wife has decided that she really likes them and I have talked her into letting me have a 6ft - 150 gallon rivertank when we change the living room around  :D

Oh my god! That will be amazing! We've finally caved and are looking into setting up a hillstream tank - and it's this thread that has broken our will power! Do you think a rio 180 with a manifold could be an appropriate set-up for some of these?

On a long enough timeline, everyones' resistance rate drops to zero.

There beautiful mad duff I also picked up some last wkend from a lfs £6 each, 2 for £10 mine to are around 2" plus, probably from the same supplier unfortunatly they only had 4 left.

mine do seem quite shy lurcking between rocks or under driftwood most of the time. I've always wanted to keep some Homaloptera and this was the first time I've seen them locally and I have to say them are the most attractive hillstream loach ever!

I'm from Nottingham, I was really surprised the place had these as they usually only have fairly common fish also picked up some tiny S. lineolata labeled as cold water plecs for just 4.99 to.

heres a couple of photos of the most outgoing Homaloptera

There seem to be quite a difference in the base skin colour of mine a couple are sort of a creamy colour whilst the others a a light brown, is this common?

we couldnt resist any longer. H. confuzona, S. lineolata, crystal cherry shrimp and white cloud mountain minnows all pencilled in for the new pad.

Mine tend not to be that shy. I still haven't figured out how to post pic here yet. I do have a thread at AC, with pics of mine.

Yeah I have quite a few colour variations among the 20 I have, I have one that has a greenish tinge to it.

They weren't the only bargains I got Andy, I got ten 2" Devario devario for £10 and five 2"+ Panda Garra for £20. The guy also kept catching the Ruby Barbs that were in the tank with the Garra so I said I wanted 4 females, I ended up with 4 females and a male and he forgot to charge me for them

I guess that was just my lucky day, I really should have put the lottery on afterwards or would that have seemed greedy
