I then checked my tanks in the shed, the day before it sounded like the splendida were having a riot in there with the amount of clicking, anyway the heater was knocked off its suckers the filter outlet was turned round and pointing at the back of the tank and two clumps of java fern had been pulled out of the rocks, I had a good look around the tank and spotted in a crevice of one of the pipe pyramids anywhere from half a doze to a dozen pale green eggs, a couple of adults were trying to get into the massive java fern root ball in the middle of the tank but it is so packed that they couldn't get into it so hopefully there are more eggs

I was going to try and move the eggs but I know that once I move the cobbles next to them to get a piece of airline or something in the will probably either come out with the flow or an adult will grab them, now I must make an egg trap of some description
