I think the environment (dark when I was taking the shots) and flash are responsible. The flash increases contrast a bit. In other words, if you put them in your tank they would probably look the same as yours. Very occasionally I see two of them havin a standoff and they go v.v.light.piggy4 wrote:The one thing I did notice is your fish have a really dark base colour ,almost black where my own Striata seem more brown ,could it be the lighting or are they pretty dark![]()
Are these your only Botia's/loaches or do you have others
