Might as well ask here. About 6 or so years ago I got a strange elongated loach from a pet store labeled as a "glass eel" It lived happly in my heavly planted tank with some Khulis, although I would only see it once a year or so. The tank had a leak this week and I transfered all the animals to a new aquarium, took about two days straight to find this guy, so I took a good picture and tried to identify him. I am stumped, he looks kind of like a forktail loach but his tail is not that long or forked. Any ideas?

Probably one of these, or a species very much like it.
Enjoy it! I have several, they get pretty big.
You wont see it often, as you noticed, this is because they like to spend their days under the gravel/sand.
