Hi Connie,

Try frequent partial water changes to improve water quality, maybe 20% every couple of days ?
Try adding some aquarium salt (not table salt that has iodine and anti-caking additives) maybe a couple of 5 ml teaspoons with each partial water change.

I have known some fish to not eat for a month when they are not feeling well.

If your loach has a parasite that is causing it to not eat, then treat with metro. I am sure if you do a search on this forum, someone will have described the medication and how to treat your loach.

By the way, your English is just fine :)

I have been following this thread from the start, I am hoping so so much that your clown loach will start to improve, I wish I could suggest something but if he has in fact got a cory stuck inside him the only hope is that it can be digested perhaps and passed out? I will be keeping my fingers crossed for you anyway!!

Hi ConnieTam,

maybe your fish got Camallanus, a nematoid worm. Fish infested with this worm avoid food due to pain in defecation. Medication in those case are nematoid dewormers like Levamisol. There´s also an equivalent medication from german Sera - Sera Nematol, especialy designed for fish. Maybe you could try it.

Good luck!

Again an attempt at trying people to follow a link. This time the topic is very old, 2009, and what's been added does not make sense.

Hence spam in my eyes
