Loach needs new home

Post by jenricae » Thu Oct 12, 2006 5:47 pm

I'm moving accross the continent and need to find a new home for my Bengal Loach. He's a great hardy fella, that is trained to come when the glass is tapped.
Anyone in Toronto want a loach?

Ok...after battling through absolutely horrendous traffic, I picked up the Botia dario. He has had a 36" tank all to himself and though no doubt lonely, he's obviously been very well looked after as you can see. He's about 4" long and as I write, floating in the bag equalizing temperatures.
I'll put him in with the Clowns eventually for some stripey company.

I guess this means I'll have to get him some buddies

He was owned by a very nice couple who are moving out West, so couldn't keep him. Most certainly not a rescue. Definitely a re-home. Funnily, just like many of us loach keepers, they were cat-lovers too. I was minutely examined by one of their cute cats who was so nosey he had to test what I tasted like too  Love bites on my hand.....but really gentle...just playing.
