clown loaches

Post by jman0303 » Tue Jan 30, 2007 2:20 pm

I currently have had 3 clown loaches in a 55 gal. tank. I plan to add 2 or 3 more. will the new fish be excepted to the school of 3 that have been together for 6 months or so? I also was wondering if clown loaches tend to swim with the same sex more so than the oppisite sex? thanks

If the new loaches are smaller than your current group, then they will get on absolutely fine. If the new ones are the same size or larger, you may find that minor squabbles for the Alpha position break out.
