OK, please for give my spelling.

But my son tested with TB. even though he dose NOT have it. The doc, said it had something to do with the bacterea in the fish tanks.

that effects the test that they do for TB.

So for the last two years we have gone to the specealist and have gone though one test after the other.

so this year is the last Thank God.........

The only thing the specealist said was is to keep the water top clean, and of corse the tank.... with gravel vaccum`s and skimming the water top.

He has fish and did all the research on it. So I felt like I could trust him....

Am so glad you don`t have it....... " katt is danceing".....

hemi wrote:if you got alot of little red bumps on your arm after you cleaned the tank
it prolly was just an irritation from your arm rubbing on the plastic trim
i get it all the time

i dunno if you clean with your tops on or off but off gives you more room without the rubbing on the plastic

i woulda mention this in your other post but i didnt wanna steer you away from getting checked

i get it all the time cleaning my sump
as the space is so small and im so big

i would also recommend something for your new tank
dont use anything from your old tanks not even fish
my friend had a JINXED 55 gallon
everything that could go wrong did
and nothing ever lived longer then 3 days in it
one day when he wasnt home me and a buddy went there
took the tank apart
and destroyed it
a week later we replaced it for him
and now he has some beautiful fish
this was about a year ago
and nothing has died yet
no ick no fungus
no broken filter or powerhead
nothing
just a well running tank

sometimes you just gotta cut your losses and start over
It's looking that way here but after loosing (well, not quite yet...hoping for a miracle) my dojo today I am seriously considering giving up the hobby altogether. I lost 6 baby clowns about a month ago and I was soooooo upset, now here I am again. I know they are just fish but that's just how I am. It has come to my attention that there is a new member to the forum who lives in the same town as myself and I am considering offering them my remaining fish and selling the tanks.

That was a very nice thing for you to did for your friend.

Thanks,
Krista

i dont wanna see you give up

i was also wondering if you have well water?
well water can be scarey dangerous sometimes

1 other thing you could try is native fish
like go to the local stream or lake and try some fish from there
they might be used to the local water
and if you have success with them
you could toss them back into the water and try tropicals again

i dunno
i just dont wanna see you give up something you like

Oh, I will probably get over it but I just don't know. I don't want to quit either but I get so sad when I lose one, especially one of my loaches. You know they say some people have green thumbs, well I don't when it comes to fish. I will have to wait and see what happens with my dojo tonight.

Thanks so much,
Krista
