Just to share some old pix of my "the other" Botia sp. - Chinese loach.

Shy fellow, they hide most of the time.

Their "shy" behaviour changed when dinner is served - they will chase their prey down - very determine & aggressive feeder

Amazing quality on pictures and gorgeous loaches! 8) Thanks for added info on feeding habits.

Could we have permission to use these in our species index, Ben? (same with Tenasserim River, Emperor Botia)

they take meaty stuff like cut prawn but tiny feeder catfishes are their favorite.
