i love loaches, but if all you are lookin for are fish with elongated bodies, then there are also spiney eels, they are freshwater... they are a little bit picky and usually need live foods though... i am planning to put a few dojo in my 55g tank soon, but mine is 4' by 18" by 12 or so.. didn't really measure the height i was just concerned about the base when i was looking for somewhere to put it
