Fat loach for sale

I have too many fish! For sale is one fat 7-8inch loach. hes a big dude, about 3 inches tall. Have had him for about a year. Asking a 100 bucks for him. Pm me or email me if interested. pick up only

What kind of loach is it? If it's a clown loach, I doubt you get $100 for it (maybe $50) Also, if you provide a pic and life story of the fish that would help.

well loach fanatics, if anyone is interested give me a reasonable offer, I need to make room in my tank. I would think clowns at this size and age would sell for a far amount

any proof that the fish is 10 years?

but 100$? that is way to much a few weeks back i say a very big clown for just 25€...

Yeah proof is needed. I need to see a birth certificate or something. Does the loach have a drivers license or passport by any chance?

$100 is a lot... If you love the guy and just don't have room, wouldn't you want to send him to a good home... not try to make a porfit off of him?

first off, I love clown loaches, their my favorite fish to keep. If I didn't care about the fish I would have simply took it to a lfs or a place like petsmart. I figured by posting it here, people like you who also have a passion for these fish may be interested which would yeild a better home. Obviouly, i offened people by asking too much so it seems(Ive never sold loaches before, especially tanks like this one). Anyway, Im sick of arguing about a loach and I will lower the price. As for the age of the fish I simply just estimated since its so large and they seem to grow fairly slow. I have heard reports that clowns can live up to forty years or more so I figured he had to be quite old. Again, I love these fish and care about the one Iam trying to sell so stop trying to play me down.

How long have you had the clown loachzilla?

I don't think anyone is trying to 'play you down', we don't know you and you don't know us. All we know so far is that you were asking a quite high price for a medium-large clown.
There's nothing wrong with trying to find a better home for him if he's too much for your tank. In fact, that's a very responsible thing to do. Here's hoping you can find him an adequate home with someone who will care for him properly for a long time.
People do post here looking to find homes for loaches that have outgrown their tanks, or for other reasons. Sometimes there are local members who can accommodate, sometimes there aren't. I've re-homed fish for a couple of members myself, but in both cases the fish were 'free to good home' deals. Maybe that's why your initial asking price was such a shocker.

i recently got a couple of BIG yoyos that someone took to Emma's shop. i didnt pay a fortunute for them, and Emma said the people that brought them in wanted them to have a good home rather than a too small home. good shops like Emma's will make sure big fish that come in go to suitable places.

trying to estimate how old the fish is by size may be misleading. it may have been cramped when it was young, so was unable to grow to its full potential, it could have been fed wrong so didnt grow as normal, or it may be a lot younger than you think, as clowns can grow quite fast in good conditions.

Anyway, i hope it finds a good hope, which is far more important than how much you get paid for it.
