Restock Tank??

Post by sharksonaplane » Sun Aug 12, 2007 9:09 pm

i just bought a little dojo loach and a pleco to put in a former 10 gallon/convict cichlid breeder tank. any ideas on what else to put in there? i was thinking another dojo to keep him company and a 2" birchir maybe? i love those to death and the other one i had hopped out of my tank so i think its high time for me to get another..

[i know 10 gal. isnt the best for accommodation but i know i can fit a couple more in there comfortably. and if they get big enough ill just move em to my 90 gal.]

I would not keep ANY of those fish in a 10 gallon tank by themselves, let alone all mixed. Read this about Dojos:

eh, i figured someone would say that..

alright, do you think that they would be ok in my 90 gal?

ive got a red devil, 2 JD, and 2 clown loaches.. i dont know how the red devil will react to him though.. the clown loaches are completely fine with all the cichlids and even play with them

Bichers are dedicated escape artists. Make sure the tank is fully sealed. They grow fast, so no, do not even start them in a 10.
38 tanks, 2 ponds over 4000 liters of water to keep clean and fresh.

Happy fish keeping!

The Dojo is a coldwater fish and should not be mixed with tropical fish. They need their own company too. READ THE LINKS.
