Larger Clowns (9"+) will definitely eat live shrimp, but in my experience, the smaller ones tend to ignore them. You could always try them on chopped up fresh prawns (shrimps) like the ones that you buy from the supermarket to use in a prawn cocktail. Mine go crazy for them, and the bigger fish take them whole.

I used to go to the supermarket, get a bunch of shrimp, and toss it in the blender for a couple seconds. Then i would fill an ice tray with the chopped shrimp and add some garlic extract and selcon. Toss it in the freezer and your good to go whenever. Just don't let your significant other catch you tossing seafood in the blender. That gets ugly.

You may have all males (or all females; however males seem to be more common)...poeticpyro wrote: the others that i have (apple) won't breed.
If you want to waste a heap of time, try to watch your snails when they are "hanging out" of their shell - inside the shell, between the head and the "roof" of the shell, the males have a penile sheath...
Another easy way to spot the penile sheath, is if you've got males, sometimes you might catch them on the glass using their head to scratch/massage ( ) their bits
