Folks:
Several Items should yall decide to try home made recipes:
Several Items should yall decide to try home made recipes:
- [1] IMHO do not use the gelatin published in the literature as it only bearly works and causes more grief than it is worth.
- [2] I make some of my mixtures coarse and some fine. The shrimp set forth in Martin's post is a much, much better binder for the fine mixtures than gelatin.
- [3] I use many veggies including spinach and vary them within a batch of meaties in order for my fishies not to get worn out with the same flavor every day (ie. canned carrots, english peas, etc except for corn).
- [4] I add ten cloves of garlic, ten Centrum Multipurpose Vitamins and three packages of yeast for each pound of mixture.
