Re: Gastromyzon ID - mixed bag
So after hours and hours of pouring over Dr. Tans book, I've figured out the reticulated one is not included. I am almost certain that it is SK03. It really is an amazing little loach. Very active and absolutely beautiful. It is pretty surprising how quickly it can change its color as well. Wish I could get my hands on a few more of these guys! I'd love to see how they behave in a group of their own.
Currently keeping: gastromyzon spp., hypergastromyzon humilis, pseudogastromyzon sp., sewellia spp., ambastaia sidthimunki, homaloptera spp., serpenticobitis octozona, Yaoshania pachychilus. As well as various catfish, loricarids, livebearers and tetras.

Try to get us more pics if you can.
I have always wanted to dedicate one large tank to gastros but it always seems that I end up mixing them in with other hillstreams due to space constraints. I have had about 6 or 7 different species and would love to see them in large numbers in a large tank with hypergastromyzon, neogastromyzon and Homolopertera confuzona.

Here are some pics I took today. No mouth shots as he/she isn't frequently on the glass. I will get some ventral shots when I can.

Shot of the unknown with a g. Viriosus taken today. Amazing coloration in the dorsal and caudal fins.
