Emma Turner wrote:Suya1, the tank is 1000 litres, and we have approx 40 Clown loaches in there, ranging from 3" up to 12". Most of the day the tank looks empty, as they all hide together amongst the extra-large pieces of bogwood. But come 9pm or so, they are all out, dancing up and down in anticipation of their food. Some of them I've had for around 14 years now.

Mine are the exact opposite. They are out during the day in a big group and at night, the tank looks empty. They all sleep in a log or in the corner behind the log. I wonder why mine are the opposite of yours? I read a lot that says clowns are nocturnal. Maybe its my location.

Also, do you feed your clowns cucumber as well?

Thanks

They get cucumber every now and again, yes. Here's an old pic of Stripes digging into a piece. :D I peel it (they don't like the skin) and then weigh it down with the little weights you get for aquatic plants:

I'm starting to get real jealous that many of you have been to Emma's store to see her wonderful clown loaches tank. :( Well, since I can only drool over the pics and vids posted, Emma please keep them coming. :D
