Anyone have a loachy christmas?

Post by zukharla » Tue Jan 15, 2008 8:36 pm

Bit of a late thread, I know but was curious if anyone got anything loach-related for christmas? My coworker (I work in a petshop) bought me a Kubotai Loach because he knew it was my alltime favourite loach that I never had any spare money to buy. "Henry" is now the prize of my tank :D
What about the rest of you?

Lucky! Sounds awesome. I wish I lived in America to see Emma's shop, I always here heaps about it.
I'm in Australia and unfortunately, here, Kubotais are rather expensive and rare. We can only get very few loach species in Oz

The shop is in England, not America.......which makes not a blind bit of difference if you're in Oz I guess :?

I didn't really get anything, but I decided not to buy a second hand 60 gallon tank and instead get a custom 80 (or so) gallon tank made. I still have to sort out the details, but that's the present I'm buying myself. :D

Amazon says estimated delivery is 30 April - 1 May for my copy of the book. I got the Interpret Manual of Fish Health for christmas, which I'm very happy with. It's got some good introductory chapters on physiology and water chemistry as well as a lot of stuff on diseases and parasites.
Fast and bulbous!
