I just saw this really cool photo pop up in the random picture on the front page....

Are there more pictures of Loaches in their natural environment? I'm particularly interested in B. histrionica as I intend to start up an aquarium with that species in the coming months.

Thanks David!

I saw the kubotai, really nice.
I did a search and all I could find were the posts from Nonn, which are beautiful posts. So far I haven't been able to find a picture of a histrionica in its natural habitat.

Also, even though I just about die every time Nonn posts new pictures, I haven't seen any of the more typical Botias that are kept. Different location or something I suppose. Would love to see photos of wild yoyos or striatas!

That was more or less the reason why I started this thread, there seem to be very few photos out there of the most common species in their natural habitat.

Nah, i remember when the photo was posted.
Nonn also mentioned about another loach on the pic, can't remember what it was but i think i can see it, under the big log.

It would be better if you send Nonn a e-mail. Nonn only checks out the forums once a month or so.

Here's his e-mail: npanitvong@gmail.com

I searched Siamensis.org a few days ago just on pure luck but didn't find any pictures. Not that it was a waste of time, by the way. I've seen some amazing stuff on that website, fish, plants, etc... Stunning! :D
