Marge vs Stripes
Marge & Stripes were having one of their spats earlier on this evening, and after 5 mins or so, I suddenly realised that my camera was within grabbing distance and had a chance of capturing some of it without disturbing them:

(please turn sound down/off)
As you can see, Marge won. I'm just sorry that I didn't realise where my camera was sooner so that I could have filmed more of it. Stripes was bright white for about 3 mins.

Marge the winner!
Were they clicking at each other? Their mouths are really working.

Thanks everyone. I only wish I'd managed to film more of it.
Eyrie - this happens every so often. I presume Stripes is trying it on in order to try and relieve Marge of the Alpha position, but she doesn't take kindly to that! The funny thing is that once it's settled down, they'll be best of friends again and will happily sleep together and follow each other about quite peacefully....until the next time he tries his luck.
Tanja - they always do that 'mouth thing' but there are no sounds that we can hear apart from the odd big 'thunk' when one of them bites the other. But whilst all that agitated flicking of the barbels is going on, I think they must be making some sort of noise that is only audible to them.

Emma:
This is a very good video!
As you are aware I am very new to loaches except for Yoyos and hence the questions.
How large are Marge and Stripes?
How large are the loaches who have paid their admission fee and are in the background?
Are Marge and Stripes a mating pair and if so why were they into this behavior?
