Sinogastromyzon wui pictures

Post by LES.. » Wed Feb 27, 2008 3:09 pm

Every couple of weeks i do a slightly more intensive clean of the tank which involves shifting the stones to vacuum up any debris under them. One of our Wui is very fond of this stone and took great objection to having its home moved, so much so that for such a shy species it decided to mount a sit in right out in the open. Just the opportunity for some pictures!

Stunning fish. I really like the intensity of the colour, even if that colour is brown :)
Fast and bulbous!

Nice healthy looking wui.
I like the orange halos around the back saddles.

Thanks for all the replies. Wui are a favourite of mine although we don't see anywhere near enough of them. It is very unusual to have one pause out in the open for any length of time. Certainly these are the best pictures i have managed to get (-:

I'm glad you enjoyed these pictures, i am trying to drop by the forum more frequently and will post pictures when i can.

LES..
