So thats approximatly 1 gallon maybe a little less I'd say you could fit 3 clowns in there and 3 is better than 2 right.

what do you mean " your joking?"
this picture is what I have except I already have 5 clowns approx 6" in size, 8 gold fish, a plastic castle, plastic skull, sea shells I found at the ocean, 2 irridesent sharks, and 10 neons.
I just set it up last week. I don't know why but the loaches keep rubbing up against the rocks and don't look very healthy. The guy at the fish store said something about a filter and heater too. But I wasn't really listening. Do you think that has anything to do with it?
O ya the water is now kinda a greenish colour. I keep the bowl in a south facing window to keep it warm during the day but my sunroom gets cold at night. The time I changed the water with my city tap water I find the gold fish breathing air at the surface.
The guy at the fish store said this set up was alright so why do my fish look kinda sick. O ya the loaches now have little white spots on them too.
Please help me as I am going to go to the pet store and get more fish for the bowl on Saturday. I am replacing the eel I had that died two days ago.
I bought the cheapest flake fish food I could find and it seems only the gld fish will eat it. I thought that maybe the others would get some if I put alot of food in but they aren't eating it. Maybe I should get some better food?
drain your pool!

I looked that up on Scotcat and Planet Catfish, but it's not in their species sections. I would be worried it might grow a bit bigger. It has that "hungry" look in its eyes. Clowns might be at risk because these catfish with long whiskers are usually predatory.

Oh....newshound.....nice one

Martin.
