I adore my bichir. Took me a while to figure out who was eating all my fish. She's a model citizen during the day, and a nocturnal ambush predator at night. :) Now I have her with big fish and feed her chunks of fish. Shes back t being a model tank mate.

I think it's wonderful that your loaches were able to spawn in your tank. Great job!

The baby is doing fine. It is living in a breeder net with some gravel. We are feeding it crushed up tetrafin goldfish crisps. It is starting to get some black color in it. It is a very lively little thing.

Sorry about the pics. I don't like photo bucket very much either. These things are still breeding. I had move them to a ten gallon tank due to some fighting in the large tanks and fish had to be split up. Cleaned the tank this morning and the gravel is crawling with babys. No one I know wants any more kuhlis, they already have some from previous batches. I don't know what I am going to do with all of them. I sure can't use them as feeders. I am going to have to get a larger tank and find a way to keep these from breeding any more or it is going to look like a pet store in my house.
