Eleocharis Vivipara and Loaches

Post by Bazz » Thu May 18, 2006 3:56 pm

Hi,

I was thinking about getting Eleocharis Vivipara (Hair Grass), for a couple of my tanks, but was unsure if my loaches would eat it. I have yo yo's, skunks and zebra's.
Has anyone here had or have Eleocharis Vivipara in their tanks with the loaches I have?.

thanks in advance

I have Yo-yos and Hairgrass and haven't encountered any issues. There's one down! :)

Thanks Joe,

I don't think the zebra's would cause any problems, but I still not sure about the skunk's.

If anyone else has any input on this it would appreciated.

thanks

If you kept Clowns then their might be a issue. But otherwise no. None that i can think of.

I had some in with yoyos and they uprooted it several times, eventually to its demise, but it was a small stand because it had trouble in another tank and was recovering. Something larger and more established may fare better.
