Thurs June 26th: The next British LOL meeting

Post by Emma Turner » Wed May 28, 2008 1:58 pm

Hi all,

We are planning another loachy meeting on Thursday 26th June to coincide with Andre's visit from South Africa. It would be great if we could get as many loachaholics together as possible! So you are all invited to join us - as usual, we will start off at the shop (Maidenhead Aquatics @ Peterborough) and probably venture to a local pub for lunch. Then back to the shop, possibly calling in for An Audience with Marge on the way back.

Please reply to this thread (or PM me) if you can make it. Would be great to see faces old and new alike.

And as it is on a Thursday, the shop will be open till 7:30pm. No one is expected to buy anything - it would just be lovely to see everyone.

Emma

Hi Helen

Yes I've been to the shop twice, I bought my gorgeous little G. Occelatus there :D

I'm new to loach keeping so it will be great to meet other loach lovers.

Hopefully see you there

awww, Graeme, thats a shame. i will hope that you appear from behind the tanks, but you will have to hide from us crouching down, or we will see your head sticking up above the top tanks.

we will miss you if you cant come

As long as you don't jump behind my back......

It would really nice to meet the guy I thrash at scrabble  I'll keep my fingers crossed.

That's so nice LES!!! Thank you sooooo much! BTW we may be neighbours soon!

Thank you very much Emma for organizing this, I have no words to express my appreciation. I'll bring some biltong to share at the pub (providing that it doesn't get confiscated at customs).

I'm feeling like a child before Xmas, I'm counting the days.

See you soon!

Andre
