loaches and angels
i am looking to buy three zebra lace angels for my my tank of fish, currently have two clowns two yoyos and a kuhli loach and a algae eater fish...was wondering if this would be a good idea... also was going to get some glass shrimp good idea or nahh...
Angels prefer slower moving water than most Loaches. If your tank can be set up with areas of faster moving water closer to the bottom, plus enough surface movement to insure plenty of oxygen in the water this is best for the Loaches, but slower moving areas for the Angels would be appreciated; flat sided fish like this are not build to fast running water.
They are compatible as far as water chemistry and temperature goes, and they like to hang out in different areas of the tank. Look into the smaller algae eaters, not a big Common Pleco. Something like a Farlowella, or Bristlenose Pleco would be good choices.

38 tanks, 2 ponds over 4000 liters of water to keep clean and fresh.
Happy fish keeping!

Hi there,CheyenneD wrote:i am looking to buy three zebra lace angels for my my tank of fish, currently have two clowns two yoyos and a kuhli loach and a algae eater fish...was wondering if this would be a good idea... also was going to get some glass shrimp good idea or nahh...
Some questions to help the experts answer your questions.

1.) How big is your tank?
2.) How long has it been set up?
3.) How long have the fish been in there?
4.) What are your decorations?
5.) How big are your fish?
6.) Is your algae eater a pleco or an algae eater?
7.) What kind of filtration do you have?
8.) What is your substrate?
The Clowns, Yoyos and Kuhlies should be in groups of a minimum of 5. The clowns and yoyos like a lot of flow in their tank. And the Kuhlies should be in a different type of tank. They like things easy going.
The ghost shrimp I put in my tank with my clowns and Yoyos disappear, and I am pretty sure they are eaten. But I don't know if this applies to all shrimp. You could keep shrimp with your Kuhlies if they had their own tank.
Hope this helps.
