My Loaches Family Pix

Post by aerden » Tue Jun 17, 2008 1:53 pm

Hi all,
I'm a newbie here. Few months ago, I started of with 4 clown loaches. Slowly I added more and more clowns plus other loaches I could find in the aquariums here in Penang, Malaysia.

I would like to share some pix of them here. I'm going to add from time to time. So, hope you all like them.

Firstly, introducing my Euro 2008 Team Holland (chromobotia macracanthus)...
Image

Secondly, my Humpty Dumpty YoYo (botia almorhae)...
Image

Next, my Butterfly Hillstream or Chinese Butterfly/Sucker (beaufortia kweichowensis)
Image

Follows by my Fork-tail (vaillantella maassi)...
Image

will continue another time... hope you all enjoy...

Appreciate your comment Mick. Thanks!

I'm using Canon 20D + Tamron 90mm f/2.8 macro lens + Kenko extension tube. As for the lighting, I'm triggering my Canon 580ex flash + Lightsphere II thru a wireless device.

WOW! :D

I dont mean to flatter, but that is the best loach photography I have ever seen, seriously!

The first selection of photos (especially the beaufortia) looked like they were part of a loach calandar. Now there's an idea!

These are fantastic photographs, aerden! 8) Would you be willing to let us permanently include 2 or 3 of these shots in our LOL loach photo galleries? (your name would be credited to them of course).
