Safe or not to eat

Hi I would like to know if alfalfa spouts are safe for loaches mainly CL's and YOYO's ? I would like to give them a try :)

I've never tried alfalfa sprouts on my loaches, so I don't know if they're safe...but I would think the hardest part would be getting them to stay on the floor of the tank :)

Maybe someone else has fed them. I'd be curious to know also, since I tend to throw away more than I eat when I buy them!

I don't think they'd be unsafe, just messy. You might want to stick with cucumber as it's way easier to remove the uneaten bits. I imagine sprouts would just get everywhere, and into the filtration system - where they would become a nuisance.
