Yoyo loaches + botia kubotai
Well, as simple as:
Will 6 botia kubotai work with 5 yoyo loaches in a 93 gallon tank? I accidentaly got 4 kubotais and 1 yoyo instead of 5 kubotais from the store, and I've fallen in love with the yoyo, messing my tank up.
Thanks!
Johan

Oh, you mean gallons, then say so!
138x41x61 CM. I know its 350 litres anyway.
Are you sure I need that much waterchanges? It's gonna be hard as I'm using a plant growth thingie, so i give the plants alot of nutrition, then i do a big waterchange to remove some of the nutrition not used, and then add more. If you see what I'm saying? Using Poor Mans Dupla Drops.
EDIT: The loaches are the only bottom-dwelling fishes I have in the tank, so I'd say there's enough space alright, right?

hi bud, from what you've wrote ,you want a planted tank with quite a few botias and imo you can only have one of them.
in my tank i only have one decent clump of java fern, the reason for this is i also keep barbs in with the botias and they love eating plants.
i love to see a planted tank but it comes at a price,( less fish )
55 US gallons needs to be well managed by you to keep the fish you want in it.
i have a 120 Imperial gallonan tank with far to many fish in it, so to counteract that it gets at least 3 big water changes per week.
i hope this has'nt put you of but i think for the welfare of your fish you would have to do a similar regime of WC per week.

Thanks for your help mate, really appreciated. I've had my barbs for almost two months now and they haven't touched my plants. I feed them alot of green. I might just have gotten lucky, my plants are fine!
ANyways, today I went to buy 4 more yoyos, which i did. I'll have to live with changing alot of water, but as it is now it's not too heavy stocked in there. And I have 8.5 litres of filter material, that's quite a nice amount. The new yoyos are chasing barbs aswell, I love them.
