i'm sure you have to join either photobucket or one of the other sites.
from there it's easy to put a pic up even for a pc dummy like me.

only way i know of is to upload them to someone's server and then insert the link to their location using html in your post.
Some isp's provide some small amount of server space with your internet account, as an alternative to joining one of those photobucket thingees... my isp calls it a "vanity page" basically they give you 10mb of server space which is not enough for a website (for that you'll have to get domain and a host) but certainly enough to stick some pics up... then you'd just link to the image in your message here... just a thought...
