Hi Mack, How is things on the other side of the "ditch", warming-up yet?
Your planted tank is just amazing, you must have put a lot of effort and money into it but I'm sure your Histronica's and other fish just love it.
We can't get Histronica's over here in Aus but I keep my feelers out for them and Striata's in the hope someone will import them . Thanks for sharing your photos.
Cheers Graeme.

Thanks for the complement.
Yes and no. I all depends on the individual about whether it is warming up. It is snow on the Mountain Ranges. And has been raining for a few days. But we had about 1 week of solid 20'c sunny days. And before that 1 week of heavy rain. Other wise everything is normal. Thought the Greenies dont think so. I think they should pull their heads out of their trees and look around them-selves and see the world is not that bad, as they think.

Hi,mickthefish wrote:yup i agree with Graeme M, your tank is superbly planted mate.
you should be well proud of how it looks.

YEs I am very proud of my tank.
And it took about $4000 to set it up to what it is now. Even though I spent lots of money, it all comes down to patience and persistence.
Any way I am in the proses of setting up my 130lt to look similar but with more of a rocky river bank theme.
Any way thanks for all the complements,
mack

Your tank is really looking good. I've been running plant free tanks for a couple of decades because I tend to kill plants just by being in the same room with them
About four months ago I finally tried my hand at a small planted tank (20 gallon long) with some of the hardier varieties (anachris, wisteria, java fern) and have had some success (nothing as beautiful as yours), but am looking forward to planting some of my larger tanks.
Thanks for posting the pics!
