Have just learnt how to upload movies so here are a few of my dwarf chain loaches. You should mute most of them as I also haven't gotten a hang of doing a good soundtrack yet either.

This one is of them getting excited about a change in the filter position that made more bubbles
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HjarmrXq ... e=youtu.be

This one is in 2 parts, first part my rasbora, second part is the loaches again and showing their lair where they retreat with snails and treats to eat

This one is of them dashing about with snails

Hi everyone. Not the best but not the worst. Look at my videos http://www.youtube.com/user/wingedskull ... ature=mhee
The last video (comments) describes one hard problem on my hands - sad clown loach. You can compare visually this guy(girl?) with another ones to understand why I'm so worried. Or just enjoy my videos. Wish you the best in 2012!

Thanks. Not sure how old he is, I bought him that size a few months ago. I would guess somewhere between 8-10? When I brought him home from the LFS he sloughed his slime coat off. It was so thick it clogged the bathroom sink

My banded mountain loach, Acanthocobitis urophthalmus. I love this little guy, but I'm going to be giving him away; I have a number of fish who may breed in the aquarium, and this guy is by far the most predatory...

Here are a couple more of the tank. It's a 20 long. I'm about to upgrade to a 55.

Hey Loachy Lovers
here's a new movie of my dwarf chain loaches and how they stalked a shrimp pellet.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sN7SjFHSn6I

This one is in 3 parts, though I apologise in advance as the first 2 parts are taken without macro setting on - the 3rd part is definitely clearer.
In this movie you see that I have put the pellet at the front of the tank but they know I'm watching and sneak around the back to get to it. On the way they boof the new shrimp rudely. Then I scare them and they dash away and then come back again via the back way and disturb the shrimp again. You will also see them emerging and entering their self-dug cave on the left side, and a lone rasbora going nuts in the current near the end.
