New loach tank

Post by loachfan » Wed Oct 08, 2008 1:23 am

It has been a while since I have been here. I have been busy building a new tank for my Botia laoches. It is finally done and the loaches are ecstatic!

I hope you enjoy!

The tank is: inside dimensions 94.5" x 36" x 24" (353 gallons) or 2.4 metre x 0.9144 metre x 0.6096 metre (1 336.25 litres).

Thanks everyone.

Marcos, right now I have an EHEIM 2215, an EHEIM 2217, and a 750 gph pond pump with attached sponge filtering the tank. I will be building a new internal filter and it will replace the EHEIMs. It will be attached to 2 pond pumps that push 750 gph each.

I have:
5 - Botia dario
6 - Botia almorhae
11- Botia kubotai
10 - Botia striata

2 - Schistura obeini (I think)
1 - Schistura ? (if it stayed still long enough I would take a picture and have the experts ID for me)

Absolutely beautiful! I'm hoping to plant my larger tanks before long. Right now I'm practicing with my 20L.

As shari stated, that will look amazing when it fills out.
