All you Grrrr fans, Syncrossus beauforti have become available in quantity from several suppliers this week, so be on the lookout as these don't come up too often! :wink:

one of my LFS thats i frequent offered me one of these Syncrossus beauforti but had it listed as a tiger barb its huge must have been about 8" offered to me for £10 but didnt know anything about them so didnt wanna add it to my tank

be very careful Rave, i've seen this fish make cichlids go white and cower in a corner.

Very good news Emma, I will be watching from the Prarie.......
be very careful Rave, i've seen this fish make cichlids go white and cower in a corner.
and the S.Helodes will pound the S.Beauforti to the same degree, these are best with Blues or as a specie set up IMHO, They are the least aggressive of the grrrrs.....IME

I've got a 6 inch one , and it has been no problem , its mixed in with some Bermorei , I'd say if you can handle Berdmorei , Beauforti are similar in behaviour !
