After looking at those pics on photobucket I am definitely more inclined towards Rostrata than any other.. Thanks for the update.
So many species of fish yet so little time, space and money to keep them all...

I was chatting to Mick [thefish] about my Rostrata's , I bought two lots from one of our local shops [Pier Aquatics] the second lot seem more colourful , i.e more golden , it was over a twelve month period , both lots were wild Indian fish , TheDarkOne seems to think that they could possibly be collected from different location and held in big vats , hence the different colour races , seen in our shops , its very interesting and now and again different looking fish seem to come mixed in , like the fish Helen has , the on with the defined network pattern !
Also Almorhae wildcaughts seem to yield some interestingly patterned and coloured individual specimens !

Rostrata it is! I'm so happy to have that sorted out :-)

Can't wait to read that article, too, and learn more about my pretty new fish!
