Are B. Histi nocturnal?

Post by mistergreen » Thu Dec 25, 2008 1:10 am

I haven't seen mine during the day time in a very long time. I'm planning to get a 75G for them soon. I'm working on a stand right now.

Anyways, I was baking bread a few minutes ago (midnight) and turned on the lights and saw them out, swimming and playing around. They're healthy, no fat, but heathy.

So seems like they're active at night.

Mine are very active it seems like all of the time. They're almost always out and about socializing and prospecting for eats with the Kubotai. I have them in a 75 with good cover available, only 3 of each at the moment but more to come. What age are yours? Mine hid for a few weeks when I first got them.

I only have 3 and I've had them for 3 years now. One is a monster (4-5 inches). I think moving them to a 75 soon would help them be more active. But just in case, I'll treat them with anti-biotic and maybe even dewormers before the move. They seem healthy but i never see them...

We all have reclusive loaches, I guess.
