i sometimes sit in the living room photograhing my tanks for hours i have about 2500 pics of just the main loach tank lol, i just cant seem to stop lol

whats that cool looking fish in the 4th pic ? its spotted and pretty nice looking fins...a discus maybe?

nope its a red scat they are actually a brackish fish but a friend of mine who breeds them has slowly developed them to fresh water so i got 2 a few years back they are fantastic and full of colour as they actually change colour from day to day they are fantastic and full of enjoyment, im hoping to get a few more frshwater ones next month

i dont know if they are available in the US but if they are i doubt they would be freshwater but defo worth setting up a brackish tank for them thats for sure, there is also the silver scat but they do get real big where the red gets to about 6" max, im really lucky the guy has been working on them for years to get them to survive in freshwater and the 2 i have are thriving thats for sure, and 2/3 years i had thwm now without any issues

to be honest i have not seen any around the US but im sure liveaquaria might have it! kinda makes me want to try to acclimate it to freshwater...lol

i spoke to my friend who does them he has another batch which will be ready in about march so i ordered 4 more lol

Great pics!

I was going to ask about th scat, too! He has beautiful colouring. I have never seen one, even in a picture. He must be a great addition to your tank!

Also love the markings on that one little clown! Even his background colour is different from the others.

yep he is deffo one of my fav clowns, but the scats are awesome ill get some better pics uploaded of them later

I've got a clown loach that looks like that little one except he has no stripe at all on one side, I'll upload it soon. He looks like a skunk loach.

yep the other side of this one has a tiny strip his stripes are so un even, but that just makes him even more lovable for me

not that big to be honest they range up to about 8inches but very rare to see that one the biggest in the pics is about 7inch the alpha doesn't show much untill all lighting is off :-(
