oh wow, thanks for information eveyone! and chicken breast.. wow i never heard of that.. i'll try that!
i got 5 loaches in a 100 L tank (with 1gurami,2bolivan ram,2barbs and 2sort tails) and they are pigs hahah, i think they think they are sharks they all eat realy well, i just wanted to give them more variety, i usaly feed them flakes, budworms (frozen or alive) and vegies like cucumber n latuce... so prawns and the chicken idea sounds great!
thanks for the info guys!

I take a cooked prawn and attach it to a rock with a rubber band. The loaches (and everything else in the tank) will tear at it for a long time before dislodging it. It started with the need to have something that stayed put for a long time to get a clown laoch out of its hidey hole to eat. It is now coming out and feeding with the other fish, so the tactic paid off.
Why does my aquarium always seem too small?
Your 5 loaches will outgrow you 100L tank. Do you have something to upgrade them to.gojuli wrote:oh wow, thanks for information eveyone! and chicken breast.. wow i never heard of that.. i'll try that!

I throw my small cooked & peeled prawns in loose just before lights out so that all the loach can pick one up and go eat wherever they choose. However, I like to fix a 2" piece of cucumber out in the open so I can watch my little guys enjoy :-
250 Gallon, 8 Modesta, 2 Plec, 2 Catfish & a shoal of 17 Clown loach.
