Loaches for 125 litre tank

Post by karl71 »

I have a spare 125 litre tank and want some loaches. Any suggestions for active loaches for this size of tank?
I already have a 125 l tank with zebra loaches and would want something different for this tank.

How big do they get and are they quite active??
What about chain loaches or polka dot loaches?

The Sids (AKA dwarfs and chain) stay very small -- 2.5 inches. They are super active and really wonderful. Personality plus. I love these guys.

Kubotais (AKA Polka Dots) get twice as big at 5".

Both need many friends. I love my Sids. :)

Check out the species profiles. Everything you want to know to get started in each species. :)
