That were grand (as our Northern companions would say)! Les took considerably more and better pictures than I did. Think I may have taken three, all of fish.

I bought 12 Yunnanilus cruciatus and Lee got some rasboras and a couple of bristle nose plecs. Bought some lovely wood for the hillstream project and a bunch of different kinds of food. Now for a quick water change and to get the new inhabitants in...

What, no Newkie broon? That's all I drink if I ever find myself in Middlesborough or the like.

I'll get some (hopefully) decent pics of our catches tomorrow.

It was great to meet up with everyone, I had a fantastic time! 8) Feeling a little bit the worse for wear today though.... I am sure Hels and Les have more incriminating evidence from last night. :?

Hope everyone gets back safe and sound with their fishies. We shall have to do this again sometime soon.

Here's some pics, Les and Hels have more....

Image
Dave (palaeodave), me, Susan (dlenn), Les (LES..), Mick (mickthefish), Chris (who is Ashleigh's other half), Ashleigh, Graeme.

David (daspricey), we were sorry that you had to leave the pub early because you had the long drive back home. Hope you had fun and are enjoying your new fishies.

Here's another couple of pics from the lunchtime pub:

Mark, Dave, me, Susan, Les.

Chris, Ashleigh, Graeme, Helen, Lee (khulikilla).

Back at the shop, Dave & Lee were 'rooting' through the wood, haha:

Here are a couple of blurry ones (!) from the other pub/hotel which we went to in the evening, and was where Mark, Graeme, Les & Susan were staying the night:

i had a great time, it was good to see new faces to put to the people :D hopefully next time we shall get to meet the poeple who couldnt make it this time, sorry to have not seen you

i had to restrain myself from buying fish, as i had arrived home from new zealand at 6pm the day before, so i need to catch up on tank mantenance first, but i did finally remember some silicon glue to make my loach hotel.

however midnight came round so quick i do not know, time went so quickly. i do have some incriminating eveidence, but i shall have to see which side gives the biggest bribes before i post anything
