yeah only a temp thing tho just waiting for there new tank to cycle there old tank started to leak so had 2 drop em in with my botias for a few weeks. hopefully it will be finished cycling next weekend then they will have a whole 240 litre tank to play in :-)

Just a doubt. Is that music eq. too near the tank?

Thanks for sharing your pictures! My favourite one is the one with the two weathers lying opposite together, one peeking out behind the other. You have a nice collection of loaches. Though I've never yet kept botias, I have been having trouble finding tankmates for my weathers because of their love for cooler water. It's almost inevitable that one day I'll have two big tanks, one for each. The botias are very interesting.

Your loaches look great. But scats with them? what are the water parameters like?

water temp 78, ammonia 0 nitrite 0 nitrate 0.5 the scats dont bother my loaches at all and they have been in the tank with them for the past few years with 0 problems

the speaker in that pic is about 2ft away and very rarely on above a whisper but when it is on a little louder all the fish tend to congregate at that end of the tank almost as if they enjoy it. mind you i reckon they would move was i to play the JAWS theme lol
