Pangio Oblongas, finally!!

Post by loachmom » Mon Feb 02, 2009 7:17 pm

Well, after waiting for what seemed like forever, I finally have six Pangio oblonga in QT. Today was the first day that our new Petsmart was open, and I just had to stop in and see what it was like. I was pleased to see that there were some P. oblongas in a tank, and I was even more pleased when the store personnel told me that the loaches had been at the store for more than two weeks waiting for opening day. I bought all that they had which ended up being six of them. They were even kind enough to scratch through the gravel to find the last one.

I'm thrilled to finally have them!!! I hope they spawn some day! :D

Congratulations. :) Yea! When you go back look for the contaminants too. Best of luck with them.

Congrats. I really enjoy mine that I got and I'm also hoping they spawn some day to. Hopefully my little wiggly thing in the gravel means they already did.

loachmom,
wishing you well with them, you may have to change your username to pangiomom.

Thank you!!

Yes, I'll be looking for contaminants. Some eel kuhlis would be a nice find.
Casey, I really hope your mystery fish turns out to be a pangio. I'll be peppering you with questions if it is.

Brian, I sure do have a lot of pangios now. :D I think, though, that there are others here who might have more. Ashleigh and Graeme come to mind...
I've actually lost count of mine, but it's around 34.
