Update on my 4 clowns and 7 striatas and friends

Post by LoachOrgy » Fri Feb 06, 2009 4:04 pm

Just did a substrate change from fine sand to pool filter sand. Had a large treasure chest in the tank but removed it. The loaches were sad at first. But now they seem very happy with more space to swim. They were getting big enough that I had to remove some more ornament before the upgrade to the larger tank happens. This is during and after substrate change.

You definately need to add some kind of caves and cover for the clowns. They like to hide during the day and are a mainly nocturnal fish. Look at other members tanks to get some ideas.

Looks way better LO, I can hear the water clear so your 02 exchange is high, your fish look very active. [/quote]
